Benefiting Children's Institute, Inc.'s work with children who are affected by violence, abuse, neglect and other trauma in their daily lives.
This event will attract high-profile No Limit Hold'em poker enthusiasts and celebrities. Lunch and cocktails will be provided. Initial buy-in is $250 to play and includes a player seat and lunch. Re-buys of $100 will be available at the first three levels only. Spectator seats are $75 and include entrance into the event and lunch. Free valet parking with validation.
Registration and lunch begins at 11:00 a.m. From noon - 12:30 p.m. there will be an instructional table for those who would like to brush up. At 12:30 p.m. the tournament begins!
Prizes will be awarded to the final 10 finishers and includes a $5,000 cash prize, a seat at the 2010 WPT Invitational, a business-class personal computer system, Southwest airline tickets and more! The event also includes a Silent Auction with many fantastic items up for bid.
Actors Camryn Manheim, Brandon Beemer, Dean Cain, Ken Davitian, Tony Denison, Joely Fisher, Willie Garson, Jennie Garth, Nicholas Gonzalez, Neal Patrick Harris, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Cheryl Hines, Jamie Kennedy, Ricki Lake, Kevin Nealon, Mekhi Phifer, Kevin Rahm, Mimi Rogers, Alison Sweeney, Jon Tenney, Greg Vaughn, Tuc Watkins and Jay Wilkison are all confirmed to play. We anticipate 25 celebrities will walk the red carpet for this high-profile event and more than 300 players and spectators will enjoy the afternoon of food and play.
